Denise LaForge - Executive Chairman of Tarpon Energy Services Ltd.
Ms. LaForge is the Executive Chairman on Tarpon's Board of Directors and has over 20 years management experience in the oil and gas industry. She chaired Tarpon's Board from 2003 to 2008 and was Executive Vice President of Tarpon from 2003 to 2007. She held the position of Vice President of Marketing and Sales with Zedi Inc. for four years prior to joining Tarpon. Ms. LaForge co-founded and actively participated in the start-up of several businesses in Calgary and currently serves on their Boards. Ms. LaForge has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering awarded by the University of New Brunswick and received a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Calgary (Dean's List) in June 2004. She also graduated from the Institute of Corporate Directors, a program dedicated to promoting improved corporate governance.
John A. Henry - President and Chief Executive Officer of Tarpon Energy Services Ltd.
Mr. Henry is President and Chief Executive Officer of Tarpon Energy Services Ltd. He is responsible for the overall strategic direction of Tarpon and its sound business management and performance to maximize shareholder value. Mr. Henry is an oil and gas industry leader with over 30 years diversified experience in a variety of senior roles. Prior to joining Tarpon, he held the position of President, Midstream Services Canada with CCS Corporation, Executive Chairman for TSC Company Ltd., and President, Vista Midstream Solutions Ltd. Mr. Henry currently serves as Director and Board Chair for Waseca Energy Inc., and is a member of the Advisory Board of Northern Plains Capital Ltd. He received a B.Sc. in Mining Engineering from the University of Alberta in 1974 and is a registered Professional Engineer in the province of Alberta.
Rod Graham - Co-Founder and Managing Director of Northern Plains Capital Corp.
Mr. Graham is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Northern Plains Capital Corp. Prior to co-founding Northern Plains, he served as a Senior Vice President and Director of ARC Financial Corporation. Mr. Graham joined ARC Financial's predecessor PowerWest Financial in 1991 and undertook a variety of roles. During his 15 year career, Mr. Graham also worked with RBC Dominion Securities in the role of Research Analyst and Peters & Co. in the role of Institutional Sales. He previously served on the Board of Directors of C-Tech Energy Services, Innicor Subsurface Technologies, Technicoil Corp. and ZCL Composites. In addition, Mr. Graham serves as a Director on a not for profit Board, Hull Child and Family Services. Mr. Graham received his Honours BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1990, a Masters in Business Administration (Ivey Scholar) from the University of Western Ontario in 1996 and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He also graduated from the Institute of Corporate Directors; a program dedicated to promoting improved corporate governance.
Keith Smith - Chairman of the Board for Zedi Inc.
Mr. Smith was appointed Chairman of the Board for Zedi Inc. in November 2006. Prior to his appointment he served as President and CEO of Zedi, a provider of wireless well monitoring services. He also served as Vice President, Corporate Development of Zedi and as Executive Vice President and Director of Acanthus Resources Ltd. Mr. Smith has over 25 years experience in the oil and gas industry as an executive, a financial and business advisor and as a partner in the oil and gas department of a major Calgary law firm. He has a BA in Economics from the University of Alberta and a LLB from the University of Wisconsin.
